Welcome to Tussie Mussie Designs!

I’m Manila and I'm the florist and founder of Tussie Mussie Designs. What began as a genuine love of flowers and the joy they bring to everyday moments has grown into a small local florist business based in Kellyville, in Sydney’s North-West.

From birthdays and celebrations to sympathy flowers and thoughtful surprises, I believe flowers have a special way of helping people feel connected, cared for, and remembered.

After completing my Floristry cert. II and III through TAFE NSW, I began Tussie Mussie Designs to share my love of floral design with my community. Since then I’ve continued building experience through weddings, events, funeral floristry, competitions, and collaborations with other local florists.

What does “Tussie Mussie” mean?

A Tussie Mussie is a small hand-held bouquet, traditionally arranged in a rounded shape with bound stems. The name dates back to the Victorian era, where small floral bouquets were given as meaningful gifts and keepsakes.

The idea of thoughtful, personal flowers is still at the heart of everything I create today.

Locally sourced flowers

Whenever possible, I source flowers from growers in Dural and the Hills District, as well as from the Sydney Flower Markets. I love working with seasonal flowers to create arrangements that feel fresh, natural, and full of life.

A small local business

Tussie Mussie Designs is a small home-based florist studio, which means every arrangement is personally prepared and carefully packed by me.
